I need recommendation of the correct driver for my SafeNet usb key for a program from 2007. I used it on Windows 7 64-bit with success and now I would like to use it on Windows 10 64-bit. The problem is that I have Sentinel HASP Run-time 5.95 for Win7 (from ) which no longer works (due to compatibility issues) in Win10.
In Device Manager, I have SafeNet Inc. HASP Key and SafeNet Inc. USB Key with the previous mention version. I already tried with but no luck. Can anyone tell me which driver can be used for the usb dongle in Win10 64-bit? Dear User, Thanks for raising the concern.
The tried run-time driver v7.66 is officially supported for windows 10 - 64 bit. Hence, the problem requires to be investigated. Could you please confirm the below points to shed more light on the same. 1- What was process followed in upgrading the driver?
2- Was there any problem or error observed while installing the RTE v7.66? 3- Please share the screenshot of sentinel keys appearing in device manager upon latest RTE installation? 4- Kindly check if the Admin control center page opens. Looking forward to your response ahead. Tt 34 diskografiya torrent. Thanks, Parth Kaushik. Hi Ken, Old libraries be face problems in accessing the key but shouldn't cause any issue in key detection in device manager/Admin Control Center. Please check and share the following details- 1.
'USB 1.02' is this the firmware of the key? Are you able to see the key in Admin Control Center on Windows 2008 R2 machine? Does it show three entries in device manager? Open Admin Control Center page and place the pointer where the key is shown.
This should show some additional information about the key hardware. Share the screenhsot. Disconnect the key from Windows 2016 machine and uninstall the drivers using command line installer (haspdinst.exe).
Open CMD with admin rights and execute this command: haspdinst.exe -purge 6. Now install again with the following command: haspdinst.exe -i Check if it works fine Regards, Ashish. Thanks for your feedback Ashish.
To address your points. The USB key firmware is version 3.25. The 'USB 1.02' refers to the server detecting the USB key/dongle as a USB 1.x device. Yes, I am able to see the key in Admin Control Center on the Windows 2008 R2 server. See attached screenshot. Yes, there are (3+) entries in device manager on the Windows 2008 R2 server.
See attached screenshot. The attached screenshot shows the additional information when the mouse is hovered over the key icon. Ran haspdinst.exe -purge on the Windows 2016 server (Operation successfully completed).
Ran haspdinst.exe -i on the Windows 2016 server (Operation successfully completed). After un-installing/re-installing using command line approach, the issue still persists.
The USB is detected in device manager (with the exception of the 'HASP Key' entry), however, the License Manager is unable to detect the USB key or vice-versa.
