If you get asked to overwrite a texture while installation, it depends if it would be necessary or not. If the mod author has done his specular maps correctly, you don't need to overwrite them with mine. If you're unsure, do not overwrite files from other texture mods with files from Wetness Shader Fix. Known issues Puddles looks sometimes out of place. There're some for concrete, metal, clothes, skin, dirt, grass. That's cool because I only needed to edit a bunch of specific material files instead of changing every object directly.

In these material files is defined: - how much glossiness is applied while it's raining (a higher value means the specular map gets more and more visible) and - how much you see the environment while it's raining (the cube map is more visible if this value is high) In some material files are some weird numbers, such as 20 instead of 2. That's why that one cooking station looks like it has a chrome finish. All in all the wet shader is a mix of the specular map, the cube map and mainly 2 values in the linked wetness material file. So, if you use a texture replacer that includes specular maps or if you use a replacer for cube maps/environment maps, the wet effect is affected by these files. Please keep that in mind before you telling me you don't see the broken shaders in the game. If you still want to tell me this mod is useless, make a test with the bloody vanilla game. With vanilla I mean not a single mod.
